Hello SM23 and SHU-SHO Family!
Happy March everybody!!!!. Hope it’s getting a little warmer for y’all. Things are surely heating up over here. We are winding down our production on FATCAMP and have begun the final song selection and mixing. More on that further down but if you haven’t checked out our kickstarter page, PLEASE do. TIME IS RUNNING OUT and we still have a long way to go. We need your love and support to make this dream called FATCAMP happen. With Kickstarter.com we’re trying to do something out of the ordinary. Instead of doing the usual CD release, we wanted to figure out a way for us to be more connected to you, our friends and family. We wanted to find a way to put what we do in your hands.
Check out the SHU-SHO epic short film “Soulobesity”.
And while you’re there check out our first update with JASWHO? It’s ridiculous!!!!!!
FATCAMP NEWS: We’re excited to announce that we have fellow Hartford peep, Brian Springer on board (literally) to handle mixing duties. He’s worked with a lot of crazy folks like Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Estelle, Mariah Carey, 2Pac, J-Lo, Usher, Angie Stone, NeYo, Ms Dynamite and the list goes on and on. Why is he working with SHU-SHO, you ask? Well, Brian went to Hartford High with me (Giovanny), Jaswho? and Carla and we blackmailed him with pictures from back in the day. Like this one…
(Brian is the one on the left with Cheetah arm band and the John Cougar Mellencamp dude in the middle is me, Giovanny)
Anyway, we’re excited that he’s on board. Check him out here www.brianbspringer.com
We hope that it finally feels like Spring wherever you are. Please don’t forget to check out our Kickstarter FATCAMP page:
Remember, dreams never die they just get postponed. Let’s make this happen. Thank you for everything, gente!
